LIKE A HURRICANE LYRICS
Lisa McDavid | Mark Paul Smith | Danny Jones
VERSE 1
I thought I knew you well
So long together
Then you started changing
Like stormy weather

VERSE 2
Wish I could slow you down
Turn your storm around
Blow back the black clouds
That tore the levy down

CHORUS
It’s all starting to feel like a hurricane
It’s all starting to feel like a hurricane
You’re driving me insane

VERSE 3
You got me running now
Running for cover
No path of devastation
Could ever be my lover

CHORUS
It’s all starting to feel like a hurricane
It’s all starting to feel like a hurricane
You’re driving me insane

VERSE 1
I thought I knew you well
So long together
Then you started changing
Like stormy weather
ABOUT THE SONG
Mark Paul Smith
Like a Hurricane: One of the hardest things is watching a lover slide into the abyss of mental illness or drug addiction. Worst of all, the person with the problem rarely sees its traumatic impact on those who love him or her the most. Trying to help can drive loved ones insane when the hurricane of failure after failure makes them feel like fools for thinking things could get better.
